Bubbly Spicy Blackberry Margarita

I enjoy a margarita now and then, usually when we go out for Mexican food. This recipe is fun, and it uses our Spicy Blackberry Pepper Jam. I found this recipe on How Sweet Eats' website. Give it a try!



  • Coarse salt for the rim

  • 2 ounces lime juice

  • 2 ounces of Adams Apple Co. Spicy Blackberry Pepper Jam

  • 1 1/2 ounces of tequila

  • 1 ounce orange liqueur, optional

  • 1 ounce lime seltzer (I just use a lime carbonated water like LaCroix)

  • Lime wedges for garnish


  • Rim a glass with a lime wedge and dip it in the salt. Fill the glass with ice.

  • Fill a shaker cup with ice (you can also use a mason jar!). Add the lime juice, tequila, jam, and orange liqueur. Shake for 30 seconds, until the drink is frothy. Pour it in the glass over ice and top it with the lime seltzer. Garnish with lime wedges. Enjoy!
